As fourth generation plumbers, S & R King Mechanical goes a long way back to the start of our company. In the early 1900's, Sidney King was a plumber in Painted Post, NY. He worked all over the Southern Tier area and was a dominant force in the plumbing industry. Sidney had a son, Beakman King, who he taught the plumbing trade to. Beakman because President of the local plumbers union in the mid-1900's and was well respected in the plumbing industry.

Beakman King raised Charles King, who took it upon himself to start his own company in the 1950's. He named his company C.R. King Plumbing & Heating. C. R. King worked all over the northeastern United States, building motels and multi-unit residential buildings. When Charles' sons were able to join the plumbing industry, C. R. King became C. R. King & Sons Plumbing & Heating.

Charles retired in the late 1980's and Steven and Rodney King took over the family business, creating S & R King Construction. In 1991, Steven and Rodney incorporated the business and S & R King Mechanical Contractors, Inc. was formed.   

S & R King Mechanical Contractors, Inc. has remained in business and will continue to do so long into the future.
